FROG FEVER IN SOCAL
Greetings from Los Angeles! It's great to see all the purple hitting Southern California. There's definitely an excitement in town. The Rose Bowl Game committee and everyone here have been very gracious and accommodating to our entire travel party and Horned Frog nation. Whether it's our trip to Disneyland, the Lawry's Beef Bowl or any team activity or practice, TCU is being treated like royalty in the City of Angels.

PURPLE UP IN PASADENA
Departure day is Friday for our Rose Bowl-bound football team. Please make every effort possible to wear purple as we turn Southern California into a sea of purple. Our on-line store (http://shop.gofrogs.com/search/purple) is the best place to start. When purchasing your Rose Bowl apparel, please support TCU by buying through our on-line store. If you're waiting to get your gear in California, we ask that you make every effort to buy from our official merchandise vendors at the J.W. Marriott and Renaissance hotels. A portion of the proceeds benefits TCU Athletics.

PURPLE UP

There's been a lot of talk about our new Nike uniforms that were unveiled Tuesday. We've heard directly from many of you and want you to know that Coach Patterson will make sure we're "Purpled Up" when we take the field in Pasadena. Along those lines, we want to make sure all of you are "Purpled Up" as well. As a follow-up to the great success we had with our "White Out" in Salt Lake City, we'll be looking to paint Southern California purple. Our on-line store (http://shop.gofrogs.com/search/purple) and the TCU Bookstore are great places to start. Please make sure to wear purple leading up to the game and especially when entering the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day.

NOTES ON A SCORECARD
It's safe to say there's never been a more historic Sunday at TCU than what we just saw. From braving the early-morning chill to see the implosion of Amon G. Carter Stadium's West grandstands to receiving an invitation to the Rose Bowl, we'll always remember Dec. 5, 2011.

NOTES ON A SCORECARD

How about those Frogs! This football season best illustrates what can happen when you allow yourself to dream. After Saturday's games, we could very well find ourselves in the national championship game. If not, we know we're headed to "The Granddaddy of Them All" in Pasadena. We have such a rich football history with appearances in the Cotton Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl and Fiesta Bowl. We're only missing the Rose Bowl. Just imagine how special it will be to see the Frogs playing for a national championship or taking the field New Year's Day in Pasadena!
