I've received a lot of emails and phone calls after our opening two home football games. The feedback is extremely valuable. We always appreciate hearing the good and bad, even as we play in a live construction site for one year. Several of your recommendations have already been implemented or are on tap for this Saturday's 2:30 p.m. game with SMU. For example, last week we began a shuttle service to assist fans with tickets on the west side's 200 level. For everyone planning on attending this Saturday's State Farm DFW Duel - Battle for the Iron Skillet, please make sure to arrive early and stay hydrated. It is very important to have you in your seats by 2:30.

We're excited to have our first home football game Saturday as the ULM Warhawks come to Amon G. Carter Stadium for a 1 p.m. kickoff. As noted in the past, we are in a live construction site. We ask for your patience as we make our way through a season in transition.

With all the talk and speculation about conference realignment, it is important to note that TCU is in a tremendous position of strength. However, lately, I have felt more like a seismologist than an athletics director, trying to predict where the next earthquake might be on the collegiate athletics landscape. That being said, I couldn't be more excited where TCU sits today because of the great vision provided by an unbelievable Chancellor and Board of Trustees, as well as having the best football coach in America. TCU has an outstanding foundation in place. We couldn't be more excited or proud of our future affiliation with the BIG EAST Conference, especially with the potential new TV contract that's in the works.
