PRIORITY POINTS UPDATE
We very much apologize for last week's Horned Frog Priority Points email system programming error. Updated information will be sent today to all points holders with directions to access their points and ranking.
PRIORITY POINTS UPDATE
For those of you looking for your new ranking in the Horned Frog Priority Points System, it will be ready any day now. Our Frog Club staff is working very hard to make sure all calculations are in order.
FOOTBALL SEASON NEARING
We're less than a month away from our football team officially reporting for preseason camp. Our first practice will be Aug. 4. Last year's Rose Bowl championship season was a memory of a lifetime. However, as Coach Patterson points out, we're 0-0 right now. It's a new team and new season. Your first official glance at our 2011 squad will be Saturday, Aug. 20, at Meet The Frogs.
With the 2010-11 fiscal year recently closing, a lot of people have asked me about their new ranking in our Horned Frog Priority Points System. The calculations for everyone's updated ranking will be completed around July 15. Everyone should be able to access their new ranking on Aug. 1.
Congratulations and a heartfelt thanks to all our Frog Club volunteers as well as our Frog Club board and staff for a job very well done on enabling us to enjoy a record-breaking year for the Frog Club. For the first time, we went over the $5 million mark in donations as well as topping 5,000 members. John Denton, our Frog Club director, and his incredible staff are certainly to be commended for their efforts in organizing such a dedicated group of loyal Frogs who made this happen. Our volunteer group and Board are amazing. This is what makes TCU special and is an incredible statement to our momentum and the pride being felt in TCU and the student-athletes representing us so well.
We have just received an additional $10 million from one of our Founders on the Amon G. Carter Stadium renovation. This new gift for the east side puts us now at $143 million on the project. A special thanks to Chancellor Boschini, associate athletics director Davis Babb and football coach Gary Patterson for an incredible fundraising job in bringing us even closer to our dream of a fully completed stadium in time for the 2012 season.
