FORT WORTH, Texas -- For the fourth straight year and fifth time in the last six seasons, the TCU Sports Network by IMG College has been recognized by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters for providing the best live sports play-by-play call in the state of Texas.

The TCU radio crew is comprised of play-by-play voice Brian Estridge, color analyst John Denton, sideline reporter Landry Burdine, spotter Wayne Gossard, engineer Josiah Miller and statistician Brian Sperry.

This year's honor was for the Horned Frogs' Nov. 30 football game versus Baylor. TCU's radio broadcasts originate from flagship station WBAP 820 AM.

The TAPB is a non-profit organization comprised of the various Texas radio and television stations that subscribe to the Associated Press wire service. Each year, the TAPB recognizes excellence and achievement in journalism with awards in various categories. The competition is divided by market size. TCU competes in the major market category of college and professional broadcasts.

The TAPB, in conjunction with similar groups in other states, organize and conduct contests and present awards for outstanding achievements in the field. Presented annually at the group's convention, these awards deliver well-deserved praise from a community of peers.

The award will be presented April 12 at the Headliners Club in Austin.
