MEETING WITH FOX
As you know, FOX is a great partner of TCU and the Big 12. A group of us from our leadership team in athletics will head to the FOX Sports Southwest offices today to review the past year with our third-tier television rights and continuing to grow this outstanding relationship. We're very excited about what the future holds with the terrific exposure we'll continue to receive through the FOX family of networks.

MARCH MADNESS
We're excited to have the Big 12 hosting this weekend's NCAA South Regional at Cowboys Stadium. We welcome our guests from Kansas, Florida, Florida Gulf Coast and Michigan. Many fans from those schools will be staying in Fort Worth. Please keep an eye out for our visitors and welcome them to the area and especially TCU, if you happen to see them dropping by campus.

TEDDY BEAR DRIVE
We very much appreciate everyone who contributed to our Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's Teddy Bear Drive. We collected over 300 teddy bears to donate to Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth.

ON THE DOCKET
It's another full slate of activity for our sports programs this week. We begin with tonight's women's tennis match at Baylor. Head coach Dave Borelli has his team playing well, winning nine of the last 10 matches and off to a 2-0 start in Big 12 play. Men's tennis, at 13-5 overall, is in the midst of a six-match homestand and has a doubleheader Saturday with matches at 1 p.m. versus Memphis and 5 p.m. against UTPA. Equestrian has the No. 2 seed at this weekend's Big 12 Championships in Stillwater. Baseball heads to Texas Tech, while track and field will split its squad into three groups as we compete at the Texas Relays in Austin as well as meets at Stanford and Texas State. Our men's golf program, ranked eighth nationally, will also be in the Bay Area as it begins play Thursday at the Stanford Invitational.

ALL-STAR SLEEPOVER
One of our more popular annual traditions is the All-Star Sleepover at Lupton Stadium. This year's edition is set for Saturday, April 20, when we host Baylor at 3:30 p.m. For more information and to register, please click here.

MEET THE STAFF
As evidenced by our Compliance Corner in each edition of Notes on a Scorecard, it is imperative that we follow all NCAA rules and regulations. Michael O'Keefe is one of our compliance coordinators, working directly with our National Letters of Intent, financial aid, camps and clinics and rules education for our athletics staff. A native of Patterson, N.Y., Michael is a graduate of the University of Miami (Fla.) as well as the Barry University School of Law. He worked two years as an assistant director at UCF before coming to TCU in June 2012. Michael and his fiancé, Kristen Jackson, were engaged in December and will be married in Spring 2014.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
Many of you recall fondly the days of the "Big Uglies" paving the way for LaDainian Tomlinson to set NCAA rushing records in Amon G. Carter Stadium. One of those "Big Uglies" was Jeff Millican, a four-year letterman (1997-00) and all-conference offensive tackle. Jeff was also academic all-conference in addition to being the recipient of the Davey O'Brien Fightin'est Frog Award. Jeff is part of a true Horned Frog family. His wife, Erika Wollenman Millican, was a four-year letterwinner (1996-99) as an athletic trainer covering football, track and field, cross country and women's soccer. Jeff is currently with Wells Fargo Bank in its food and agribusiness group, while Erika is a teacher at the First United Methodist Church Parent's Day Out program in The Colony, Texas. Jeff and Erika reside in The Colony with their children: Kinslee (7), Wesley (4) and Gentry (8 months).

SPANNING THE GLOBE
This week's edition of TCU supporters flashing the Horned Frog sign and apparel from all points worldwide comes from Doug Robinson, class of 1999. We see Doug from the top of Haleakala Crater on Maui. Please continue to send me (delconte@tcu.edu) any photos you'd like to share.

NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: Andy Dufresne, our favorite banker, asked the warden, "How can you be so obtuse?" in the classic Shawshank Redemption.

This Week's Quote: "The Giants of New York took on the Packers of Green Bay. And in the end, the Giants triumphed by kicking an oblong ball made of pigskin through a big "H." It was a most ripping victory." Make sure to check back next week for the answer.

COMPLIANCE CORNER
Generally, an NCAA institution may not host, sponsor or conduct a tryout camp, clinic, group workout or combine devoted to agility, flexibility, speed or strength for prospects at any location. This prohibition does not include currently enrolled students that try out for walk-on spots on a team because they are no longer considered prospective students-athletes under NCAA legislation.

There are several exceptions to this rule, including preseason practice and competition before classes start, camps and clinics permitted under NCAA Bylaw 13.12, coaches that are involved in a local sports club and on-campus evaluations of prospects in men's basketball.

KEEP IN TOUCH
Please let us know if you ever have any questions or concerns regarding our program. This is also your program and we value your feedback. We welcome all calls and emails.
