The campus might be a little quiet during the summer, but not when it comes to work on our athletics facilities. We have associate athletics director T. Ross Bailey, who oversees all our construction projects, hopping.
As you know, Daniel-Meyer Coliseum is in full demolition mode with most of the existing interior walls having been removed. Over at Charlie and Marie Lupton Baseball Stadium at Williams-Reilly Field, our new indoor facility is progressing well. The piers are poured. Early next week, the foundation is expected to pour as well
The new bleacher project at the Lowdon Track and Field Complex will begin early next month.

SPANNING THE GLOBE
We very much appreciate Roy Blackmon wearing his TCU cap while enjoying a cruise to Alaska with his wife Pat. If you have any images of you and/or family and friends sporting TCU apparel from all points worldwide, please send them my way (firstname.lastname@example.org) to share.
NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: We went to the classic 80s comedy Trading Places, when Ralph Bellamy said to Eddie Murphy, "Pork bellies, which is used to make bacon, which you might find in a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich."
This Week: "What was he wearing? Well, uh, let's see, he was wearing a red argyle sweater, and tan trousers, and red shoes."
Bump is a volleyball student-athlete who will be transferring to Ocean State University (OSU) this fall. Bump is going to be playing on an outside team this summer instead of enrolling in summer school. If she participates on the same team as other current OSU student-athletes, does she count in the limitations on the number of student-athletes from OSU who may compete on this outside team?
No. NCAA Official Interpretation- 3/28/14 -- Sports Other Than Basketball -- Student-Athlete Counting in Outside Team Numerical Limitations (I) -- states that a student-athlete in a sport other than basketball who has officially withdrawn from a four-year institution and been accepted for enrollment at a second institution, does not count in the limitation on the number of student-athletes from the first institution who may compete on an outside amateur team in the applicable sport. Under such circumstances, the student-athlete will not count in the limitation on the number of student-athletes at the second institution who may compete on an outside amateur team in the applicable sport unless he or she is a student-athlete at that institution (e.g. has enrolled and attended classes during a summer term).
