At TCU, Hoover is currently the women's basketball and secondary football contact following three years as the main contact for women's soccer, equestrian and men's and women's track and field. He also handles all web, video services and graphic design for the TCU media relations department.
In 2008, Hoover's track and field media guide was nominated as the fourth-best media guide in his region by CoSIDA. In 2009, Hoover's track and field media guide was voted the second-best multi-sport guide in the nation by CoSIDA, while his women's soccer guide collected ninth-place accolades among the nation's best.
This past summer, Hoover was once again among the nation's best, earning Best In The Nation honors for multi-sport guides by CoSIDA.
Hoover arrived at TCU from South Dakota State, where he served as a student assistant and graduate assistant from 2004 to 2007. A native of Elkhorn, Neb., Hoover graduated from South Dakota State in 2005 and received his Master's degree in mass communications/journalism two years later. He began his media relations career as a student assistant/intern at SDSU in June of 2004 under Ron Lenz and Jason Hove.
Away from TCU, Hoover was a member of the 2008 Olympic Trials media relations staff, while also working on the media relations staff for the World Football Challenge.
