TCU Student-Athletes to Receive Diplomas Saturday

FORT WORTH, Texas -A total of 31 TCU student-athletes from 10 sports will cross the stage and receive their diplomas on Saturday during the 2017 Fall Commencement ceremonies inside Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena.
The football team will have 12 graduates, the most of all the programs at TCU. The class is highlighted by Sports Illustrated First-Team All-American Mat Boesen, and All-Big 12 selections Nick Orr, Ranthony Texada, Austin Schlottmann, and Ty Summers. Kyle Hicks, a 2016 All-Big 12 honoree also graduates, while John Diarse will earn his master's degree.
Miami Marlins draftee and 2017 Big 12 All-Tournament selection Elliot Barzilli represents the baseball team. Kenrich Williams, last season's NIT Most Outstanding Player, will graduate from the men's basketball team.
On the women's side, multiple-time All-American Sally Li graduates from rifle, while Second-Team All-American 4X100m relay teammates Judy Emeodi and Sabrina Moore graduate from track and field. Seda Arentekin and Olaya Garrido-Rivas, two All-Big 12 tennis players from last year, will also graduate.
Three-time NCEA Academic Honorable Mention Brooke Boyle graduates from equestrian, while two-time second-team Academic All-Big 12 recipient Kaylee Smith graduates from women's volleyball.
