In her second season with the TCU rifle team, Liz Bitar is aiming for continued improvement from her first season on the team.

In her first collegiate competition last season, the Aggie Invitational, Bitar recorded scores of 291 in air rifle and 682 in smallbore. She followed that up with a 279 and 676 score in air rifle and smallbore respectively at the Horned Frog Invitational.

She didn't compete again until the Gamecock Invitational where she scored 301 in air rifle and 812 in the smallbore portion. She finished the season strong, earning career bests at the NCAA Sectionals with scores of 305 and 822.

Personal: Elizibeth Ann Bitar is the daughter of Dr. David and Betty Jo Bitar. Her mother is a graduate of TCU. At Alcanes High School, Bitar earned letters in three different sports. At TCU, she is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority, is involved with the Leadership Forum and is a photographer for the TCU Yearbook. An accomplished photographer, her work can be seen on the TCU campus and a photograph of hers is in the permanent art collection at TCU. She is a Photography major.
