FORT WORTH - After entering the tournament as the No. 7 seed, the TCU rifle team put together a strong two-day effort to finish sixth with a team aggregate score of 4,642. Sally Li and Catherine Green led the Horned Frogs in air rifle with scores of 585.

Hannah Black, Jamie Dowd and Megan Lee all shot in the first rely of the day. Dowd paced the trio with a 583, followed by Black's 580 and Lee's 583.

In the second relay, the Horned Frogs sent Sally Li and Catherine Green to the firing line. Both shot identical scores of 585, posting the top scores for the Horned Frogs.

TCU's air rifle team score came in at 2,333 which was seventh-best among all competing teams. Entering the day, the Frogs were clinging to a three-point advantage over Jacksonville State. The teams shot identical scores in air rifle, helping TCU hold on to its sixth-place finish.

A pair of seniors shot in their final match in the Purple and White. Jamie Dowd completed her four-year career with an overall aggregate score of 1,158 in the championships. Catherine Green posted an aggregate score of 1,160 to close out her career.

West Virginia successfully defended its title from 2013, shooting a 4,705 aggregate score in the championships. Alaska-Fairbanks was the second-place finisher with a team score of 4,677. The Nanooks were followed by Kentucky (4,675) in third and Memphis (4,669) in fourth. Nebraska finished fifth with a score of 4,660.
