FORT WORTH - The TCU rifle team earned a three-point victory over Jacksonville State Friday night. The Horned Frogs turned in a team aggregate score of 4,656. Freshman Sally Li recorded a personal best aggregate score of 1,172.

Li tied for the match-high in smallbore, shooting a 581 (193 kneeling, 197 prone, 191 standing). She backed up her strong showing in smallbore with a first-place finish in air rifle after shooting a 591 (99-99-97-98-100-98).

The Horned Frogs were two points better than JSU in smallbore, shooting a team score of 2,306. Hannah Black tied Li for the top mark in smallbore as she fired a 581 (192 kneeling, 199 prone, 190 standing). Catherine Green followed with a 573 (190 kneeling, 195 prone, 189 standing). Megan Lee contributed a 571 (191 kneeling, 195 prone, 185 standing).

Also shooting, but not factoring in the team score was Kelly Bogart (570), Katie Bridges (571), Jaime Dowd (570), Claudia Duksa (571) and Allie Taschuk (561).

TCU held onto its narrow margin with a one-point win (2,350-2,349) in air rifle. Li was the competition's only shooter to fire a score in the 590s. Black finished fourth after shooting a 587 (99-98-97-97-96-100). Green (98-100-94-99-96-99) and Lee (96-98-99-99-97-97) each fired a 586 to account for TCU's team score.

The Frogs also had solid performances from numerous shooters. Dowd shot a 583, while Taschuk and Duksa each fired a 581. Bogart followed with a 578 and Bridges fired a 575. Lydia McGarva shot a 564.

TCU will wrap up a four-match homestand Sunday when it hosts UTEP.
