FORT WORTH -- The TCU Rifle team will close out the regular season portion of its schedule Sunday when it heads west for a match against UTEP.

The Miners are a familiar foe for TCU, as the Horned Frogs secured a 4,635-4,516 victory back on Nov. 17 in Fort Worth. Li paced all shooters with a 589 in air rifle and 577 in smallbore.

The Horned Frogs are coming off a third-place finish at the first-ever Patriot Rifle Conference Championship. Li not only shot a career-high 595 in air rifle on Sunday, but also notched the best score of any shooter during the tournament. Katie Bridges had a personal-best in air rifle with a 589 and a 1,160 in aggregate while Allie Taschuk's 585 in air rifle was the second-best of her career.

UTEP has not competed since Jan. 11, but did fire a season-high 2,311 in air rifle. The Miners finished third out of four teams at a match in Columbus, Ohio. Kentucky and Ohio State finished first and second, respectively, while the Miners finished ahead of fourth-place Rose Hulman Institute of Technology.

Korina Rodriguez is the Miners' biggest threat. She leads the squad in both air rifle (582) and smallbore (574). Rachel Schoenrock is second in each with averages of 579 and 564, respectively.

Following the match, the Horned Frogs will return home for a key match against Air Force as they fight to earn an eighth consecutive berth in the NCAA Tournament. The NCAA qualifier is set for Feb. 22 at the TCU Rifle Range.
