TCU Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Kenrich Williams of men's basketball and Rachel Garner of rifle have been named TCU's Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week based off impressive performances last week.

Williams, a native of Waco, Texas, played a pivotal role in TCU's upset over No. 1 Kansas at the Big 12 Championships. Williams logged eight points, eight rebounds and five assists in the game as the Horned Frogs topped the Jayhawks, 85-82. Overall, the junior averaged 15.3 points and 9.0 rebounds throughout the conference tournament.

The men's basketball team has qualified for postseason play for the first time since 2012 and will host an NIT matchup against Fresno State at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Garner, a native of Celina, Texas, took home bronze as an individual at the NCAA Championships in Columbus, Ohio last week. Garner qualified for both the smallbore and air rifle individual finals. She finished fourth in smallbore and third in air rifle. As a team, the Frogs placed second at nationals with a final score of 4,706.
