As a sophomore in 2002-2003 -- NCAA "B" cut qualifier... ranked 28th in the nation in 200-back...won the 100-back at the 2003 C-USA Invite in 49.09 seconds, breaking the meet record set by former Horned Frog Aaron Ewert... also claimed top honors in the 200-back in 1:45.56... qualified for the short-course national championships with his 100-back time.
As a freshman in 2001-2002 -- Runner-up to Aaron Ewert in both the 100 and 200-back (50.68;1:49.59) at the 2002 C-USA Men's Invitational... placed tenth in the 500-free (4:37.72).
