Named Horned Frog Determination Award winner... earned All-MWC accolades in the 200-fly, snapping Gretchen Brannon's 1990 benchmark (2:01.16) with a clocking of 2:00.33 during the preliminary heat of the MWC Championships en route to a fifth place finish in finals... swam the third leg of the fastest 200-medley relay in TCU history (1:43.60) for seventh at the MWC Championships... also placed 13th in the 100-fly (56.79) and 15th in the 500-free (5:01.54) at the MWC Championships... was the third-fastest Frog in the 100-fly with a top time of 56.79... won seven individual events on the year, while also teaming up for on a pair of relay victories... claimed the 200-fly in the last five meets of the regular season... enjoyed her only multi-win meet against San Diego State and Centenary College on Jan. 17... anchored the fourth-best 800-free relay (7:30.63) in school history at the 2008 Conoco/USA Swimming Short Course National Championships in Atlanta.

Earned Outstanding Female Swimmer team honor... led the team during the season with seven events wins... earned All-MWC honors in the 200-fly... picked up the win in the 100-fly (58.93) and 200-fly (2:06.46) against UNT in the final meet of the regular season... finished runner-up in the 200-fly (2:06.98) against New Mexico... won the 200-fly against SDSU... posted her first win of the year against Wyoming in the 200-fly (2:06.17).

Led the team in the 200-fly (2:04.06)... posted the third-fastest time in the 100-fly (57.79)... won 10 dual meet events on the season... named All-MWC after recording a second-place finish in the 200-fly (2:04.44) at the MWC Championship... medalist in 15 events on the season... member of three winning relay teams... notched one of only two TCU wins in the 200-fly (2:06.27) against BYU and the 200-fly (2:05.57) against Utah... placed ninth in the 500-free (5:05.83) out of 56 competitors at the UNLV Invite... also swam to a fourth-place showing in the 200-fly (2:07.56) out of 24 participants... named the TCU Female Athlete of the Week on Oct. 8, after posting two wins in only the second meet of her collegiate career.

Named an All-American in the 100-fly event... team MVP sophomore and junior years... named to the all-state team sophomore, junior and senior years... team captain in 2006... Ursuline Academy and TAPPS record holder in the 100-fly and 500-free.

Futscher is the daughter of Dr. Eric and Alma Futscher... enjoys playing with her puppy, Pumba... a movement science major.
