JUNIOR (2005-06) - TCU's Most Valuable Swimmer...earned second-team All-Mountain West Conference in the 50-free, 100-free and 100-fly...member of the second-team all-conference 200-free relay squad...set a school record in the 100-free with a time of 50.83...also led the team in the 50-free (23.34)...participated in the team's 200-free relay squad that recorded the school's third-best time...took part in the 400-free relay team that placed fourth in school history...two-time Mountain West Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week...earned the All-American Strength and Conditioning Award.
SOPHOMORE (2004-2005) - TCU's Most Valuable Swimmer... led the team in the 100-free and 100-fly, also was second in the 50-free... earned three all-conference medals at the C-USA Championships in Houston... won the gold as a member of the 200-free relay that finished with an NCAA "B" qualifying time of 1:33.01, which was both a meet and school record... finished second in the 50-free (23.61) to teammate Leann Cathcart and was a member of the silver-medal performing 400-free relay (3:25.74)... also finished fourth in the 100-free (51.66) and ninth in the 100-fly (57.36)... broke a 14-year-old school record in the 100-fly (55.41) at the Texas Invite... named the Conference USA Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 16.
FRESHMAN (2003-2004) - All-conference selection in four events... swam to three top-5 individual finishes at the C-USA Championships... placed third in the 100-free (51.42), fourth in the 50-free (23.64) and fifth in the 100-fly (56.41)... member of three winning relay teams: 200-free (1:33.78), 400-free (3:25.36) and 200-medley (1:44.11), that set school and meet records... competed at four events at the Texas Invitational, finishing 16th in the 100-free.

Personal - Erica Tate is the daughter of Eric and Charisse Tate... brother, Nicholas, was a six-time All-American for Texas A&M from 1998-2001... public relations/advertising major.
