MANSFIELD, Texas -- The TCU men's swimming and diving team fell to SMU in a dual meet on Wednesday night, 182-118.

The Horned Frogs (1-1) recorded victories in the 500 freestyle and the 400 freestyle relay in the meet that snapped a three-year win streak against the Mustangs.

"We gave all we had tonight, but SMU has a very improved team," said head coach Richard Sybesma. "We will use this experience in training to get better as a team."

Junior Carlos Hunnicutt produced the Frogs' first win of the evening with a first-place finish in the 500 free with a time of 4:36.83. Hunnicutt also logged second in both the 200 fly at 1:51.46 and the 200 IM at 1:54.06.

Four other athletes earned silver in their respective events. Sophomore Tommy Thach clocked in at 1:41.24 in the 200 free, placing second.
