TCU Sweeps Meet From Southwest Missouri State

Fort Worth, Texas - In another TCU swimming and diving superior effort, both the men and women took the sweep over visiting Southwest Missouri State, with the men going 60-53 and the women winning 68-44.
The women had an excellent night, taking nearly all the individual events. Freshman Keleigh Wentworth took two events on her own, swimming the 1000 yard free 10:28.31 and the 500 yard free in 5:07.49. Senior Erin Irons also won two events, as she swam the 50 free in 23.68, and the 200 back in 2:07.76. Sophomore diver Kelly Seely won the one-meter dive with a score of 247.13, and sophomore Jennifer Antisdale led the 200 fly with a 2:09.13 time. The other two first-place finishes came from a pair of freshmen as Erica Tate won the 100 free in 52.69 and Karen Sandifer won the 200 free in 1:54.99.
For the men, Craig Chapman dominated the 200 back in 1:53.88, while Collin Sandifer won the men's 50 in 21.56. Aran Bean collected another 200 IM in 1:54.77 and Yousif Del Valle won the 100 free in 46.94. Sophomore diver Kelly McCain swept the two men's diving events with one of his best performances of the year thus far, garnering a 333.45 in the three meter and a 322.65 in the one meter.
The women are now 7-1 in dual action while the men move to 6-0. The Frogs have some time off of competition until the UT Invite December 4-6 in Austin.
