FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU women's swimming and diving teams close out competition in the regular season Wednesday when they travel to the University of North Texas for a dual with the Mean Green.

The diving competition begins at 4 p.m. at the Pohl Recreation Facility and the swimming competition begins at 6 p.m. at the PEB Natatorium.

TCU is 18-3 all-time in duals with North Texas.

"This should be a pretty good and close meet for us. We are anxious to see where we are," TCU head coach Richard Sybesma said. "After this meet we will start fine-tuning for the conference meet."

The meet will be the Frogs' first since beating West Virginia Jan. 18. TCU's meet at the University of Texas originally scheduled for Jan. 24 was canceled due to poor traveling conditions.

The Mean Green beat Tulane, 181-119, in their last home meet Jan. 18. Since then UNT has had meet at SMU and Texas A&M.

"This meet will be a good gauge for us as to where we are," Sybesma said.

The Big 12 Championships are Feb. 26-March 1 in Austin.

Lyndsie Gibson (back/distance), who has already broken to records this year, along with Julie Grace Sanders (sprint/fly), Ali Bleasdell (fly/IM) and Carley Stevens (middle distance), are poised to have solid meets to close out the regular season.

The Big 12 Championships are Feb. 26-March 1 in Austin.
