Swimming and Diving Awards Announced

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU swimming and diving coach Richard Sybesma recently announced the team MVPs and academic honorees at the team's season-ending banquet.
Robinson, who advanced to the NCAA Championships for the first time in his career, is the school record holder in the 100 back (46.94) and the 200 back (1:42.33), while Gibson holds the school record in the 100 back (54.80) and 200 back (1:58.76).
Bradley, who placed third on platform (222.10) at the 2014 Big 12 Championships, competed in the Zone Diving Championships in Minneapolis for the second time in his career, while Connolly, who placed eighth on platform (192.10) at the 2014 Big 12 Championships, participated in the zone meet for the first time in her career.
In addition, Sybesma announced the 22 student-athletes who earned All-Big 12 Academic accolades: First Team -- Ashley Alspaugh; Sebastian Arispe; Sara Brzozowski; Ricky Bradley; Courtney Cheek; Kristen Connolly; Emily Rose Creighton; Michelle Fleming; Michelle Garland; Katelin Hatcher; Gabi Korac; Kyra Lindholm; Lauren Mikulecky; Catherine Rash; Ryker Saunders; Mackenzie Schuler; Shayda Shah-Hosseini; Joseph Stegeman. Second Team -- Evan Folan; Carmen Lindmoen; Josh Mangus; Carley Stevens.
The Frogs also garnered seven 2014 All-Big 12 First-Team Selections and 19 Second-Team Selections: First Team -- Ricky Bradley; Michael Franz; Gabi Korac; Cooper Robinson; Thor Stenfjord; Ford Story; Hannelore Strash. Second Team -- Sebastian Arispe; Ali Bleasdell; Emily Rose Creighton; Michelle Fleming; Evan Folan; Lyndsie Gibson; Garrett Hills; Josh Mangus; Anthony McMurry; Curtis Muller; Corey Nix; John Remetta; Cooper Robinson; Julia Grace Sanders; Joseph Stegeman; Thor Stenfjord; Carley Stevens; Ford Story; August Van Allen.
