FORT WORTH, Texas – The TCU women’s swimming & diving team hosts conference foe Iowa State on Friday, Nov. 7, at 6 p.m., at the University Rec Center Natatorium.

The first 50 students with their student ID will receive a free TCU swimming & diving t-shirt. Admission is free for all fans.

Last year, the Horned Frogs and the Cyclones met for the first time ever, with TCU earning the victory, 160.5-139.5. The Frogs won eight events in the dual last season, all by returning student-athletes for the 2014-15 season.

This season, the Frogs are 3-1, 0-1, with wins coming against Tulane, UTPB and North Dakota. The Cyclones are 4-1 with victories over South Dakota State, South Dakota, Nebraska-Omaha and North Dakota. It will be the first conference dual for Iowa State this season.

Last week, the Frogs competed in a double dual with North Dakota and Kansas, picking up a 231-68 win over the Fighting Sioux, but falling to the Jayhawks, 172-124.

TCU had three first-place finishes at the double dual. Two freshman recorded victories in individual events. Maddie Johnson earned her first collegiate win, coming in the 200 fly with a time of 2:11.74. Emily Gibson won the 100 fly with a mark of 57.17. It was the third-straight meet she had recorded a first-place time.

The Frogs also tallied a win in the women’s 400 free relay. Ashley Alspaugh, Carley Stevens, Sara Brzozowski and Ashley Dyke combined for the victory, clocking in at 3:30.68.

A full recap and results will be posted to GoFrogs.com following the conclusion of the dual on Friday night.
