Cannon competed in two meets during the outdoor season, placing second overall in the men's shot put at the Horned Frog Invitational ... He just missed earning all-conference accolades at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships, tossing the shot 55 feet, 11 ¼ inches, which is a personal-best mark, to place fifth overall in Albuquerque ... Also posted a fifth-place outing in the men's shot put during the indoor conference championships ... Overall, competed in four different meets, including a second-place showing at the Razorback Invitational.

Cannon led TCU with a second-place performance at the MWC Outdoor Championships in the men's shot put in Laramie, Wyo. ...
