Provisionally qualified for the NCAA indoor meet in the 60 with a season-best time of 6.72 seconds, which tied for 34th on the national list, but did not make the cut for the NCAA Championships.
Placed fourth at the C-USA Indoor Championships in the 60 with a time of 6.82 seconds and was sixth in the 200 meters with a time of 22.05.
Swept the Conference USA outdoor 100 and 200 meter dashes with times of 10.25 and 20.59 respectively.

2001-2002 (San Bernardino Valley College) Took the gold medal in the 200 meters at the 2001 Hyundai California Community College Track & Field Championships, clocking a time of 20.84 seconds... also was the runner-up at 100 meters with a mark of 10.26.
Best times are 10.26 in the 100, 20.71 in the 200 and 46.45 in the 400.
Twice earned conference MVP honors.
