  • A five-time All-American who is a proven commodity in the short sprints... has the ability to be a national champion in the 100 and 200 meters as a senior.
  • The 2002 Conference USA Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year will also run either the second or anchor leg on TCU's sprint relay unit.

    2003

  • Posted winning times in the 60 at the Oklahoma, Houston and Air Force Indoor Classics early in the spring.
  • Took second place in both the 60 and 200 meters at the C-USA Indoor Championships in Houston.
  • Placed fifth in the 60-meter dash at the 2003 NCAA Indoor Championships, earning his third all-America certificate... matched his personal best mark with a 6.64 time in both the prelims and in the finals... suffered a hamstring injury in the final steps of the finals.
  • Battled the hamstring injury throughout the outdoor season and did not compete until the Conference USA Championships.
  • Placed second in the C-USA 100 meters with a time of 10.26 seconds... also ran the anchor leg on TCU's silver medal-winning 4x1 relay.
  • Turned in his best time of the season, 10.13 seconds, which ranked fifth on the descending order list, in the Midwest Region prelims... was the regional 100-meter dash champion with a time of 10.38 into a slight headwind.
  • Earned the bronze medal in the 100-meter dash at the national meet with a time of 10.36 seconds in the finals.
  • Ran the anchor leg on TCU's 4x100 meter relay that placed sixth at the NCAA outdoor track & field championships.
  • Was a first team academic all-district and third team academic all-America selection with a 3.49 GPA in political science.

    2002

  • Became one of the elite sprinters in the country, earning All-America honors in the 60-meter dash during the indoor season and in the 100-meter dash in the outdoor season.
  • Won the 200-meter dash at the Red Raider Classic in Lubbock on January 26 with a personal best of 21.34.
  • Placed fifth at 60-meters in the Conference USA meet with a mark of 6.84 seconds.
  • Posted a 6.73 mark in the prelims of the Last Chance Meet in Ames on March 1, improved to a 6.69 in the semifinals, then logged a career-best 6.64 mark in the finals to earn a trip to the national meet in Fayetteville.
  • Placed 11th in the 60 meter dash at the NCAA Indoor Championships while earning All-America honors... ran a time of 6.68 seconds.
  • Earned Conference USA Track Male Athlete of the Week accolades after winning the 100 at the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational meet on March 16 in 10.22.
  • Placed third in the 100-meter dash at the Texas Relays on April 6, finishing in 10.37 seconds.
  • Captured first place honors in the 100 and 200 meter dash at the Texas A&M Invitational on April 13.
  • Took the gold medal in the 100 at the TCU Invitational on April 20... his winning time of 10.05 seconds was a meet record, a personal best and made him one of the top five all-time sprinters in TCU history.
  • Named the Conference USA Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year after winning both the 100 meters (10.07) and 200 meters (20.45), and ran the second leg on the winning 4x100 meter relay team (39.17).
  • Placed fourth while earning All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Baton Rouge, La... ran a 10.26 in the prelims, a 10.21 in the semifinals, then turned in a mark of 10.40 seconds into a headwind in the finals.

    2001

  • Overcame a slow start in the indoor season to post a great outdoor campaign during his freshman season.
  • Best mark in the 60-meters during the indoor season was a 6.92 clocking at the Houston Indoor Invitational on February 3... fastest time in the indoor 200-meters was a 22.24 mark at the Tyson Indoor Invitational in Arkansas on Feb. 9.
  • Posted a national qualifying time of 10.28 in the 100-meters during the outdoor season at the TCU Invitational, placing third in the event... bettered that with a 10.26 mark at the UTA Open May 5.
  • Reached the finals of the WAC Championships in the 100-meters, finishing eighth with a time of 10.63, his slowest mark of the outdoor season.
  • Competed on TCU's "B" 4x100 meter relay squad and traveled to Eugene, Oregon as an alternate on TCU's National Champion relay unit.
  • Earned Academic all-WAC honors.

    High School

  • Named the Gatorade Outstanding High School Track Athlete in the state of Florida in 2000 after becoming the Florida state champion in the 100 meters at Boyd Anderson High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
  • Earned all-state honors in track as both a junior and a senior.
  • Attended Wolmer's High School in Kingston, Jamaica before finishing his prep career in Florida.
  • Finished fifth in the World Junior (under 20) Championships in the 100 meters... also ran on the Jamaican 4x100 unit at the meet.
  • Set a high school personal best of 10.27w in the 100 meters in Rome... best 200m clocking was 21.40.
