* Heather Hanchak returns for her senior year to compete in the sprint and relay events.

* Possesses great range, can compete from the 60 to the 400...Is a hard worker and team leader.

* Is the school record holder in the indoor 400 meters with a best time of 55.30.

2001

* Primarily used on the relay teams, competing on both the 4x400 and distance medley relay units.

* Won the 400-meter dash at the Oklahoma Indoor Classic (56.08).

* Ran the second leg on TCU 4x400 meter relay team...Finished second at the indoor conference meet (3:49.19) and placed third at the outdoor meet with a provisional qualifying time of 3:38.85.

2000

* Won the 400 meters at the Oklahoma Indoor Classic January 22.

* Set a school record of 55.30 in the indoor 400 meters at the Tyson Invitational in Arkansas on February 12.

* Did not compete in the outdoor season due to injuries.

1999

* Posted a solid indoor season with bests of 7.68 in the 60-meter dash, 25.31 in the 200m, and 58.35 in the 400m.

* Helped the 4x100 unit to a seasonal best and NCAA provisional qualifying time of 44.68 while winning at the Texas A&M Invite.

* Ran the leadoff leg on TCU's 4x1 and 4x4 relays, helping both units to second-place finishes at the WAC Outdoor meet.

* Ran seasonal outdoor bests of 12.00 in the 100m, 24.54 in the 200m and 57.71 in the 400m.

1997-98 (California Baptist)

* Qualified for the NAIA Championships in the 200m and 400m during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.

* Won the 1998 California Junior College Association 200 meters.

* Earned NAIA Academic All-America honors as a freshman.

High School

* Earned 12 All-America citations while attending the Ellis School, located in suburban Pittsburgh...Coached by Alonzo Webb, Jr.

* Gained international experience at the 1995 Junior Pan Am Championships in Santiago, Chile, running a leg on the silver medalist 4x400-meter relay...Also earned a spot on the national team at the 1996 World Juniors in Sydney, Australia.

* Was the 1996 National Scholastic Champion at 400 meters... Won the 200- and 400-meter titles, setting a national junior record in the 400 in 1997.
