* Tremendously talented distance runner only needs to stay healthy to make a place for himself in the TCU all-time greats list.

* Put together a great summer of training and appears ready for his final collegiate season.

* Along with Eliud Njubi, gives the Frogs national scoring potential at the distance events.

* Put together a stellar career at Dodge City (Kansas) Community College where he proved to be one of the premier junior college runners in the nation before transferring to TCU.

* Was a second place finisher at the 1999 NJCAA Outdoor National Championships at both 5000 and 10,000 meters.

2001 Cross Country

* Did not compete for TCU as he was academically ineligible.

* Running unattached, defeated Eliud Njubi to take the individual title at the Texas-Arlington Invitational.

2001 Track

* Injuries limited him to just two meets during the indoor season... finished sixth in the 5000 meters at the WAC championships.

* Earned his first win during the outdoor season when he defended his home track at 5000 meters in the TCU Invitational.

* Best time at 5000 meters came at the Arlington Invitational on March 31 (14:49.27)...Was a fifth place finisher in the WAC Championships at 5000 meters.

* Set the school record at 10,000 meters at the Penn Relays when he turned in a time of 29:47.78.

* Captured the WAC Championship at 10,000 meters with a time of 30:38.12.

2000 Cross Country

* Despite nagging injuries, still battled to earn a berth in the NCAA Championships.

* Finished 54th in the NCAA meet in Ames, Iowa, covering the distance in 31:21.2.

* Was running second at the South Central Regional Meet at the 5K mark, but lost his footing and fell, costing him several places in the standings...Still able to recover to finish seventh in a time of 31:24.40 over the 10K course.

* Ran second to teammate Eliud Njubi in both the UNT Season Opener on September 9 and at the UNT Invitational on October 7.

* Named the WAC Male Cross Country Athlete of the Week on October 9 following his second place finish at the UNT Invitational...Covered the five mile course in 24.33, just one second behind Njubi.

* Injured and was unable to finish at the WAC Championships.

1998-2000 (Dodge City C.C.)

* Competed at Dodge City Community College where he had a tremendous career despite being hampered by injury.

* Notched seven All-America honors in cross country and track.

* Received All-America accolades in the 3-, 5- and 10K distances.

* Clocked a 30:23 10K at the 1999 NJCAA Outdoor National Championships, earning a second place finish...At the same meet, he finished second in the 5K in a time of 15:01.

* Trained under the tutelage of coach Joe Weis.

High School

* Graduated from Kigumo Bendada High in Kangema, Kenya.

* Competed against the best runners in Kenya, including four-time world cross country champion and two-time Olympic silver medalist Paul Tergat...Also lettered in soccer and tennis.

* Coached by Thomas Wanyike.
