General

  • Expectations were great for the defending national junior college champion in the 100 and 200 meters... is the national junior college record holder in the 100 (9.93), surpassing the mark previously held by Tim Montgomery, and owns a share of the 200 meter record (20.19).
  • Suffered a torn ACL to his knee late in the football season and underwent surgery... is not expected to compete in track during the `04 season.
  • Was expected to challenge for the national title in the 60 and 200 during the indoor season and in the 100 and 200 during the outdoor campaign... also was slated to run either the second or anchor leg on TCU's 4x100 meter relay.
  • Signed to a track scholarship at TCU but walked on to the football team last fall... used a redshirt season and did not see any action.
  • Is the first sub-10 flat 100 meter sprinter recruited to TCU.

    2002-2003 (Barton County Community College)

  • Competed for two seasons for coaches Lance Brauman and Lyles Lashley at Barton County (Kan.) Community College.
  • Was the junior college national champion in the 200 meters in 2002 and finished second in the 100.
  • Came back in 2003 to become the national champion and NJCAA record holder in the 100 (9.93) and capture the 200 meter title in a record-tying time of 20.19.

  • Was the Florida state champion in the 200 meters in 2000.
