AUSTIN, Texas -- On Day 3 of the Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium, the Frogs are sending three relay teams into Saturday's finals and one individual in the 100 meters.

The men's 4 x 100 team of Lavon Collins, Sam Watts, Ronnie Baker, and Malik Summers finished sixth in the preliminaries with the time of 40.00 to advance to Saturday's 1:30 p.m. final, while 4 x 400 team of Collins, Watts, Justin Chambers and Baker had the top time in the prelims at 3:07.80 to move on to the finals. That final is set for approximately 4:30 p.m.

"We qualified fairly well. The effort has been good and as long as the effort is good we'll be OK," TCU track and field coach Darryl Anderson said. "We're in pretty good shape for Saturday."

In addition to the two men's relay teams, the women's 4 x 400 team of Tiffany Terry, Veronica Jones, Alexandria Peters, and Briyanni Thomas posted the time of 3:37.89 to move on.

The finals for the women's 4 x 400 will be contested at approximately 4:15 p.m.

In the men's 100 meters, Baker finished eighth in the preliminaries with the time of 10.35 to earn a spot into the finals. The final is set for approximately 3:05 p.m.
