DES MOINES, Iowa -- TCU sprinter Ronnie Baker recorded the time of 10.30 seconds in the 100 meters Saturday to finish second at the Drake Relays.

"He did really well and getting second in the Drake Relays is exceptionally good for him," TCU track and field coach Darryl Anderson said. "We're pleased with it."

Friday night, Baker posted a personal-best 10.29 in finishing second in the preliminaries of the 100 meters.

TCU throwers Adam Damadzic (177-11) and Cameron Tabor (174-09) placed sixth and eighth, respectively in the discus.

Also Saturday, Jordan Moore (14.05) placed sixth in the 110 hurdles and the 4 x 400 relay team (Narada Jackson, Kolby Listenbee, Justin Chambers, Baker) placed eighth (3:08.60).

Friday Night, Lorraine Ugen (20-05.75) placed second in the women's long jump, and Thursday, Tricia Terry won the 5,000 meters (16.17.57).

The Frogs are back in action May 16-18 at the Big 12 Conference Championships in Lubbock.

"We got some good work in (at the Drake Relays) and had some competition against some really good teams and it gives us an indication of where we are," Anderson said.
