Indoor Season Continues at A&M Invite

FORT WORTH, Texas – The TCU track and field team returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Texas A&M Invitational in College Station, Texas. It marks the second meet of the indoor season for the Horned Frogs, who opened the 2013-14 season at A&M’s Reveille Invitational on Dec. 7.
The Texas A&M Invitational features a 10-team field including Abilene Christian, Baylor, Louisiana Tech, Rice, SMU, Texas State, UT-Arlington, UT-San Antonio and host Texas A&M.
Field events are set to begin at noon, sprint and hurdle preliminaries begin at 12:30 p.m. and the running finals open at 2 p.m. with the mile. A live webcast of the meet will be available as well as live results.
In the first meet of the season, the Horned Frogs notched a trio of first-place finishes while placing a student-athlete among the top five finishers in 12 events. Senior Tricia Terry won the mile while junior Megan Smith and senior Cameron Tabor each earned a shot put title.
