FORT WORTH -- TCU Athletics has named men's basketball guard Kyan Anderson and women's track and field distance runner Tricia Terry its Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week for their recent performances.

Anderson continued his hot streak for the Horned Frogs in the two games last week. He followed up his 29-point outing against Baylor on Wednesday with a 25-point showing at Kansas. The game against the Jayhawks marked the fifth time in the last seven Big 12 contests he has scored 20 or more. He also scored 18 of TCU's last 22 first-half points and shot 8-for-9 on the afternoon.

The junior from North Crowley High School will look to replicate his recent success when TCU travels to Kansas State. Tip-off for Wednesday is set for 8 p.m.

Terry won two events in two days at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., on Friday and Sunday. She set the school record in the mile with a 4:42.52 mark on the first day and beat the previous standard by five seconds. The senior from McAllen, Texas, picked up right where she left off in Saturday's 3,000-meter heat, which she also claimed the title in after a 9:37.70 finish.

Terry and the Horned Frogs will return to action at the Big 12 Conference Indoor Championships in Ames, Iowa Feb. 28-March 1.
