Moore Earns Weekly Conference Honor

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU freshman Jordan Moore, the Horned Frogs' school-record holder in the 60-meter hurdles, was named the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Wednesday.
For the third time in two weeks, Moore, who hails from McDonough, Ga., broke the school record in the 60H with a time of 7.70 seconds, breaking his old mark set at the New Mexico Invitational (7.72). He is currently ranked first in the Big 12 and fifth nationally in the event.
It was the first weekly award for the Frogs this track season.
Ashley Spencer, a junior at the University of Texas, was named the female athlete of the week.
