TCU started out the outdoor season by hosting the TCU Invitational. The Frogs picked up five event victories. It will be a similar field in Waco with the hosts Baylor, North Texas and SMU all having run at TCU last week will also be at Baylor this week. Stephen F. Austin will also be competing.
The meet will have a similar schedule to the TCU Invitational of last weekend. The running competition will start out with a 2,000-meter steeplechase contest. Other highlights on the schedule include the scheduled first 200-meter dash of the season for Charles Silmon. The six-time All-American was a semifinalist at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials in the event.
