FORT WORTH - TCU's track and field program continued to add to its group of newcomers for the 2013-14 season with the addition of two more student-athletes. The Horned Frogs will welcome Sabrina Moore of Huntersville, N.C. and Tiffany Terry of League City, Texas to the women's squad next season.

Moore has had a strong start to the 2013 season after a successful 2012 year. During the North Carolina Indoor State Championships, Moore won the Class 4A state title in the 55-meter dash in 7.10 seconds and took the long jump title with a leap of 18-7. She has also been successful outdoors, qualifying for the USA Junior National Championships and New Balance Outdoor Nationals in the 100-meter dash. Moore finished second in the 100-meter dash and fifth in the 200-meter dash at the 2012 Class 4A outdoor championships.

"Sabrina brings versatility," TCU head coach Darryl Anderson said. "She is still developing, but she can jump and run the 100 and 200. Lorraine Ugen and Whitney Gipson can both sprint and jump for our women's team and Ramone Bailey can jump and sprint for our men. She can bring that to our program. We are excited about having her."

Terry brings versatility to the TCU women's middle distance events. She finished ninth at the UIL Class 5A state championships in the outdoor 400-meter dash as a junior. Terry had a strong indoor campaign to start 2013, finishing first at the Texas A&M High School Classic. She has outdoor personal bests of 55.82 in the 400-meter dash and 2:15.05 in the 800-meter run.

"Tiffany is another versatile runner with great range," Anderson noted. "She can run from 400 meters up to 800 meters. At the Big 12 Indoor Championships, you have to run a 400, 600, 800 and 1,000 so she can help us fill holes and give us people competing in events where we didn't have anyone this year. In the long run, we see her as an 800-meter runner, but she still has good 400-meter speed."

The two additions bring TCU's newcomer count for the 2013-14 season to 10 student-athletes. TCU signed D'Andre Lewis (Houston) and Malik Summers (Lewisville, Texas) to the men's team, and Judy Emeodi (Austin, Texas), Makaila Flannigan (Chandler, Ariz.), Jazzmine Folston (Cocoa, Fla.), Arin Rice (Canyon, Texas), Anna Robinson (DeSoto, Texas) and Jasmine Sillemon (Crowell, Texas) to the Horned Frogs women's squad.
