Frogs at Florida Relays this Weekend
April 3, 2014
"Anytime you go down into SEC country you know it's going to be a very competitive weekend," TCU track and field coach Darryl Anderson said. "As always, we're using it as a stepping stone to continue to elevate our competition on a weekly basis, and that's going to help us be ready when it gets time for conference, regionals and nationals."
Two weeks ago, the Frogs opened the season by hosting the TCU Invitational and last week they competed at the Texas Relays in Austin.
"We saw all those guys last weekend at the Texas Relays and we'll see them all again this weekend," Anderson said.
Last week, three Frog relay teams competed in the finals.
"We were in finals last week at the Texas Relays and that's always a good thing," Anderson said. "Normally, the take is if you can make a Texas Relay final you have a great chance of making an NCAA final and we had several finalists."
Competition for the Frogs gets underway at 1 p.m. CT with the men's hammer and women's discus, while competition resumes at 11 a.m. Saturday morning.
