FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU student-athletes Jordan Moore and Megan Smith have been named Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week for their recent performances.

Moore added a second Big 12 title on the final day of the Big 12 Conference Outdoor Championships on Sunday. With his performance, Moore tied LaTerance Dunbar's record with the time of 13.64 seconds in the 110H to win the event.

Moore won the 60 meter hurdles at the Big 12 Conference Indoor Championship in March in Ames, Iowa. He broke a 14-year-old record in preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles at the New Mexico Team Invitational in January. Moore also broke his own record in placing second overall with a time of 7.72 seconds during the same Invitational.

TCU junior thrower Megan Smith posted two runner-up finishes in the Championships, placing second with her toss of 180 feet, 4 inches in the women's discuss, while also finishing second in the shot put on Saturday with a throw of 53 feet, 11.25 inches.

Smith placed first in the shot put in late January in the New Mexico Team Invitational with a throw of 52-09.25.

Jordan Moore and Megan Smith have clinched spots to compete in the NCAA Regionals in June. Both student-athletes will be looking for the opportunity to compete at NCAA Nationals in Eugene, Ore.
