May 21, 2014

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU signee Kemarley Brown defended his California Community College Athletic Association title in the 100 meters with a national junior college and community college record of 9.93 seconds at Mt. San Antonio College Saturday.

At the time, Brown's mark was the fastest 100 meters in the world ran in 2014.

"We are as excited as can be that he will be joining us in August," TCU track and field coach Darryl Anderson said.

Brown, who competes for Merritt College in Oakland, California, is from Jamaica, the home of the 100-meter world-record holder Usain Bolt.
