Track announces camp dates

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU track and field program has announced that the Darryl Anderson Track and Field Camp will be held on July 7-10 and is available to boys and girls ages 8-18.
The camp will be held at the Lowdon Track and Field Complex, which provides campers with a top-flight facility. Camp will be structured as a "learning camp", where staff stresses event technique and training principles as guidelines to career improvement and future success. Instruction will cover a wide range of topics essential to all athletes aspiring to maximize their potential. Camp drills will focus on preparatory training, event technique with video analysis, training tactics and injury prevention. All track events will be covered except the following: javelin, hammer, pole vault and steeplechase.
The 2008 camp is fully staffed by the TCU coaching staff and Northern Arizona Director of Track and Field JW Hardy.
