ROME, Italy - Former Flyin' Frog All-Americans Lewis Banda, Michael Frater and Kim Collins competed at the 28th Golden Gala Kinder + Sport on Friday.

In the 100 meters, Frater finished fifth overall with a time of 10.12, while Collins followed in sixth-place clocking a time of 10.14 at the Olympic stadium in Rome.

In preliminary competition, Collins and Frater both blazed to times of 10.07 in heat No. 2 to finish first and second overall, respectively.

Banda competed in the men's 400 meters in Italy, but missed qualifying for the finals despite crossing the finish-line in sixth-place in heat No. 2 with a time of 46.58.

All three athletes will represent TCU at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in August.
