Track And Field Adds Josephs And Chepkemoi To Program

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU track and field head coach Darryl Anderson announced the addition of Jeffery Josephs and Caren Chepkemoi to the track and field program on Tuesday.

Josephs, who hails from St. Andrew, Jamaica, comes to TCU from Camperdown High School. Overall, he clocked a time of 10.55 seconds in the 100 meters to cross the finish line in third-place at the Jamaican Boys' National Championships. Josephs also ran a leg on Camperdown's 4x100 quartet that recorded a second-place showing at National Stadium.

Chepkemoi will don the Purple and White after competing in the 3,000, 5,000 and 6,000 meters at Chesbonei Girls High School in Kenya.

TCU closed its 2010 outdoor season earning two All-America accolades in Eugene, Ore., at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
