Indoor track and field season begins Jan. 19

FORT WORTH – Two newcomers to the TCU track and field program have been recognized by Track and Field News among the best in the country. Raymond Bozmans and Jordan Moore earned high school All-American honors for their performances before coming to Fort Worth.

Bozmans, a sprinter from Fort Collins, Colo., was ranked No. 4 in the magazine’s 100-meter dash rankings. Boasting a legal personal best of 10.27 along with a wind-aided 10.19, Bozmans completed an incredible individual sweep at the 2012 state championships, claiming the titles in the 100, 200 and 400-meter dashes. His time of 10.27 is the Colorado State Record.

Moore, a hurdler from McDonough, Ga., was No. 3 on Track and Field News’ list of All-Americans in the 110 hurdles. Moore was a three-time champion in the Class 5A 110-meter hurdles, winning the finals his senior year by nearly a full second. He boasts a personal best of 13.43 with a wind-aided 13.39 too.

The Horned Frogs begin the indoor track and field season on Jan. 19, 2013 at the Auburn Invitational.
