FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU closed out its conference home season in style tonight in the University Rec Center, defeating UAB in three games for its third sweep of the week. Strong offense helped the Horned Frogs defeat the Blazers 30-20, 30-19, 30-23 to give the team their best conference record in school history with seven C-USA wins, the most to date. Sophomore Emily Allen set a new school mark of her own: her three aces tonight boosted her to the new TCU record holder for aces in a single season (47).

Four Frogs tallied double-digit kills tonight, with senior Dominika Szabo leading the way with 14 kills and a .545 hitting avg. Sophomore Anna Vaughn followed with 13 kills a .478 avg., while senior Ellen Rehme tallied a .346 and 12 kills and Allen hit a .368 and 10 kills. As a team, TCU hit .376, the 11th highest in school history to UAB's .106.

Isabel Oquendo paced the Blazers with nine kills, while Brianna Galvin saved 16 digs.

Next up, the Frogs (17-8, 7-3 C-USA) travel to Oklahoma for a midweek, non-conference match-up against OU and then head south for a single-match weekend against C-USA rival Houston. UAB falls to 1-20 and 0-9 in C-USA with the loss.
