TCU Volleyball Signs Middle Blocker

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU volleyball announced the signing of middle blocker Hayley Harmon for the 2002 season. Harmon, a senior at Oak Park High School (Kansas City, Mo.) was a four-year varsity starter and two-year captain on the volleyball team under coach Linda Jones. Harmon also holds the school records for career kills with 1,147 and single-season kills with 464.

During her senior year, she was named to All-Conference and All-District First Teams and the team MVP. She was named to the All-Conference, All-District, All-Northland and All-Region First Teams, All-Metro Kansas City Second Team and team MVP her junior year; and to the All-Conference and All-District Second Teams as a sophomore.

A member of the Team KC volleyball club, a national level team, for eight years, Harmon is actively involved in Young Life and plans on pursuing a degree in Sports Medicine or Health and Fitness. She chose TCU over Syracuse University and Southeast Missouri State.
