– The TCU women’s cross country team was named a United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2012 Division I All-Academic team Monday.

The Horned Frogs were strong in the classroom, posting a Fall 2012 team GPA of 3.484. Thirteen of TCU’s 15 women’s cross country team members posted a semester GPA of 3.0 or above and six of them had a GPA of at least 3.5.

To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better and have started at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional championship.
