TCU Prepares for Ken Garland Invitational

FORT WORTH – The TCU cross country teams are back in competition with the Ken Garland Invitational hosted by North Texas on Saturday. The events in Denton start with the women’s 5k at 7:45 a.m. with the men’s 4 mile event beginning afterwards.

“Like Baylor, we view this meet as another work out opportunity,” cross country head coach Liz Wort said.

The Horned Frogs women’s team will consist of seniors Katie Dalton, Agnes Kemboi and Tricia Terry, junior Shannon Speir, sophomores Carlie Brittan and Rachel Vanlandingham and freshmen Courtney Cochran, Ashley Eckhoff, Maggie Escobar and Genna McCarthy.

The TCU men will consist of senior Dave Emerson, junior Jake Rossmango and sophomores Kevin Case, Taylor Moult, Preston Newsome and Mason Richards.

Along with the hosts North Texas, the Horned Frogs will see Division I competition in the SMU women’s squad.
