2005 Summer League:
Played in the Cape Cod League for the Falmouth Commodores... teammates with current Frog Sam Demel... was selected by numerous scouts to be one of a few players to take batting practice at Fenway Park over the summer... hit .262 in 35 games... recorded 32 hits, including five doubles and four home runs... drove in 21 runs... had an on-base percentage of .416.

2005 (Sophomore):
Earned 2nd-team all-Conference USA... appeared in all 61 games, making 60 starts... split time between first base (15 starts), second base (30 starts), left field (10 starts) and as the designated hitter (five starts)... hit safely in 47 of 61 contests... reached base safely in 56 contests... recorded 21 multi-hit contests and 14 multiple-RBI contests... finished second on the team with a .353 batting average... led the squad with 85 base hits, 12 home runs and 53 RBIs... finished second with 54 runs scored and 27 walks... also collected 13 doubles and two triples... stole six bases in eight attempts... hit .393 in conference play with a team-high 46 base hits and seven home runs... drove in 25 runs and scored 33 runs... drew 18 walks and struck out only 11 times... hit safely in all three games against Utah to open the season... struggled to get over the .300 mark, finally doing so on March 25... had his second-career multi-home run game against Manhattan on March 6... was 4-for-5 with three runs scored and four driven in... went through a rough stretch that saw his average drop down to .239 in an 0-for-13 slump... broke out of the slump with a 3-for-4 game against Southern Miss on March 18 to open the C-USA season... had a strong series against the Golden Eagles, hitting .700 (7-for-10) for the weekend with three runs driven in... finally got over .300 and stayed there with a 2-for-4 day against East Carolina on April 1... game started a blistering month of April that saw him hit .390 (30-for-77) with 22 RBIs... ECU contest started a five-game hit streak in which he hit .479 (10-for-21)... put together an eight-game streak beginning on April 16 with a 1-for-4 day at the plate against Memphis... hit .447 during that stretch with 13 runs driven in... was blistering hot in a doubleheader against Charlotte on April 23... was a combined 6-for-11 with two home runs and seven RBI... hit .500 against UT-Pan American and drove in four runs in the two-game series... was hitless in the first game against Houston on April 29, but started a season-long 11-game hit streak on April 30... hit .429 (18-for-42) during the streak... helped spur a Frog comeback in the series finale at Cincinnati on May 8... was 4-for-5 in the contest... drove in two runs in the Frogs win over No. 1 Tulane on May 20... named to the Conference USA all-Tournament team... drove in five runs in the Frogs win over Southern Miss on May 26... was 5-for-11 in the Waco Regional with two RBI... collected 19 two-out RBIs.. hit .358 with RBI opportunities... tore up left handed pitching, hitting .387 against the southpaws.

2004 (Freshman):
Earned Conference USA Freshman of the Year on the strength of an outstanding first season at TCU... also garnered second-team all-conference honors... named Freshman all-American by Baseball America and Louisville Slugger... appeared in 64 games this season... led the Frogs in batting average all season, batting over .400 for a majority of the year... led TCU in slugging percentage (.577), on-base percentage (.477), doubles (20), runs scored (68), and hits (97)... the 97 hits are a new single-season TCU record, breaking his brother, Royce and Terry Trofholz's old mark of 94 set in 1999 and 2002 respectively... ranked third on the team with nine home runs and fourth with 44 RBI... finished the season with a .383 batting average, leading all C-USA freshmen... also led the squad with a .373 batting average in conference action... led the team in being hit by the pitch with 22... reached base in 61 games, including a stretch of 40 straight games... recorded at least one hit in 51 games... led the team with 29 multi-hit games and ranked fifth with nine multiple-RBI games... got the season started off on the right foot, homered in his first collegiate at-bat against Dallas Baptist... finished the game 3-for-4 with two RBI... named to the Southwest Diamond Classic All-tournament team, hit .636 (7-11) in the tournament with three RBI and five runs scored... had a season-long hit streak of 12 games from Feb. 19 to March 11... hit .479 (23-48) during the streak... blew up against Memphis, hit .615 (8-15) for the weekend with 11 RBI and eight runs scored... drove in seven runs in the series finale with a 4-for-4 with seven RBI in an 8-7 win over the Tigers with two home runs... performance earned him Conference USA Co-Hitter of the Week (March 22)... saw batting average go up to .455 with a 5-for-6 game in the series finale against Houston on March 28... drove in three and scored five runs in an 18-7 win over the Cougars... batting averaged peaked a .458 following a 2-for-4 outing against Southern Miss on April 2... slumped a bit in the middle of April... hit only .142 (3-21) over a five-game stretch from April 11 to April 18... ended slump with a six game hit-streak during which he hit .320... saw 40-game on-base streak come to an end with an 0-for-3 outing against Louisville on May 2... got back on track with an eight-game hitting streak, raising his batting average back over .405... hit .607 from May 2 to May 16... went threw a mini slump to end the regular season, but came out of it during the Conference USA Tournament... was named to the All-Tournament team, hitting .382 over the six games with three runs driven in and seven runs scored... drove in the winning runs in the Championship game against Southern Miss on May 30... hit .397 this season with runners on base and tore up right-handed pitching, hitting .395.

Elkins High School:
Was an standout athlete at Elkins High School as a football and baseball athlete... as a sophomore he was named first-team all-district... his junior year he earned first-team all-district, all-state and all-Greater Houston accolades... team was the state and national champions his junior year... was a preseason TPX All-American his senior year before breaking his arm and sitting out all but 12 games
