Pitched in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox... made just two starts... had a 1-0 record in 14.1 innings pitched... didn't surrender an earned run and allowed just six hits... tallied 19 strikeouts and walked just three batters.

Texas A&M:
Pitched two seasons at Texas A&M... appeared in 19 games as a freshman, making 10 starts... finished second on the team with 50 strikeouts... struck out a career-high 66 batters in 54 innings pitched as a sophomore... was a combined 8-5 in two season with a career ERA of 4.18... racked up 116 Ks in 112 innings pitched for the Aggies.

Forney High School:
Played two seasons at Plano High School before transferring to Forney... named to the all-state team twice and earned district MVP honors twice... had a miniscule 0.76 ERA in 91.1 innings of work as a senior... fanned 163 batters and finished with a record of 12-1... tossed a perfect game as a junior... selected to play in the Texas High School All-Star game.

Chance is the son of Bobby and Melody Corgan... has two older brothers, Dusty and Travis... father, Bobby, was a pole vaulter at Texas Tech... majoring in general studies... enjoys the outdoors, including hunting and fishing.
