2015 (Freshman)
Was one of just three Horned Frogs to play in and start all 66 games... made 53 starts at catcher, 12 as the designated hitter and one at first base... led the team and ranked second in the Big 12 with 46 RBIs... also paced the team and ranked eighth in the Big 12 with seven home runs... ranked second on the team with 73 base hits... led the team and ranked fifth in the Big 12 with 15 doubles... was successful in five of eight stolen base attempts... posted a .996 fielding percentage with just two errors... caught a pitching staff that posted a 2.45 ERA, the second-best in the NCAA... reached base safely in 56 games and tallied a hit in 50... tied for the team lead with 13 multiple RBI contests and ranked fourth with 19 multi-hit games... first collegiate hit was a three-run home run against Southern Illinois on Feb. 14... finished the game with two hits... started an 18-game hitting streak with a 1-for-4 day at the plate against UT Arlington on Feb. 17... hit .293 (22-for-75) during the streak... had four hits, including his first career double in the series win at Arizona State (Feb. 20-22)... hit what proved to be the game-winning home run in TCU's 1-0 win over Texas Southern on Feb. 25... went 2-for-3 with an RBI against Rice on March 3... doubled in the Frogs' first run of the game at UCLA on March 7... tallied a hit in each game of the Baylor series (March 13-15)... hit his third home run of the season in the series finale against the Bears... had two hits and two RBIs in the final game against UT Pan American on March 18... had four hits in the series vs. Oklahoma State (March 20-22)... had a break-out series against Wichita State March 27-29... hit .700 (7-for-10) in the series with seven RBI and five doubles... had four hits in the series opener and two in the series finale against the Shockers... picked up five hits in the series at Kansas State, including two each in the final two games (April 10-12)... had two doubles as part of a three-hit day to go along with two RBIs in the series finale against Texas (April 26)... hit a three-run home run in the series opener at West Virginia on May 1... homered twice as part of three hits against Abilene Christian on May 12... drove in two runs with two hits against Oklahoma on May 15... closed out the game with a nine game hitting streak that saw him hit .395 (15-for-38) with seven RBIs... double and homered while driving in three in an elimination contest against Stony Brook in the NCAA Fort Worth Regional... posted four hits in the final two games of the Regional against NC State... had five hits in the NCAA Fort Worth Super Regional against Texas A&M... his second hit in game three of the Super Regional led to the game-winning run scoring in the 16th inning to send the Horned Frogs to the College World Series... collected four hits in the College World Series.
