Appeared in 23 games, making five starts... made 15 appearances as a pinch hitter, two as a defensive replacement and one as a pinch runner... all five starts came as the designated hitter... was 2-for-14 with two doubles and a walk as a pinch hitter... made his season debut on Feb. 17 at Ole Miss... hit a pinch-hit double at Jacksonville on March 1... made his first start of the season on March 5 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff... also started against Northwestern State on March 13... was 1-for-1 with an RBI and three runs scored... also earned starts at Kansas State (April 27), against UT Arlington (May 14) and against Kansas (May 25) in the Big 12 Championships... final hit of the season, a double, came against West Virginia as a pinch hitter on May 24.
