2009 (Sophomore):
• Made nine appearances on the season and six starts.
• Finished the season with a 2-2 record and a 7.03 ERA.
• Team posted a 7-2 record and a 4-2 mark in games he started.
• Struck out 22 batters and limited opponents to a .250 batting average.
• Tallied the Frogs' first victory of the season on Feb. 21 at Cal State Fullerton.
• Allowed five runs in six innings of work with a season-high eight strikeouts.
• Surrendered a run on two hits in two innings of work at UT Arlington on March 3.
• Improved to 2-0 on the season in start over Wichita State on March 7.
• Gave up just two runs in 5 1/3 with four strikeouts.
• Suffered his first loss of the season against Minnesota on March 15.
• Tossed three hitless innings at UT Pan American on April 11.
• Also turned in a scoreless inning of relief against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on April 21.
• Second loss of the season came in a five-inning stint at San Diego State on April 24.
• Final start of the season came on April 30 against BYU.

• Named second-team all-conference.
• Honored as a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball and Ping! Baseball.
• Made 16 appearances on the season, 15 of which were starts.
• Tied for third on the team with 66 1/3 innings pitched.
• Compiled a 7-3 record with a 5.02 ERA.
• Fanned 53 batters and limited opponents to a .253 batting average.
• The Frogs were 11-4 in games he started.
• Was 5-1 in eight conference starts with a 5.28 ERA in 44 1/3 innings pitched.
• Began his collegiate career with 11 scoreless innings over his first three appearances.
• Made his collegiate debut on Feb. 26 against Dallas Baptist with a scoreless inning of work and two Ks.
• Was brilliant in his first career start, tossing seven scoreless innings against UT-Arlington on March 4.
• Allowed just four hits and struck out seven.
• Earned his first win of the season, tossing three perfect innings against Prairie View A&M on March 11.
• Won six consecutive starts from April 5 through May 11.
• Picked up win No. 2 against Air Force allowing two runs (one earned) in six innings with six strikeouts.
• Held the Rebels hitless through 6 2/3 innings on April 12.
• Last seven innings allowing just one earned run with a career-high eight strikeouts.
• Picked up two key road victories for the Frogs at BYU (April 18) and at San Diego State (April 26).
• Matched a career-high with eight Ks in 6 2/3 against Utah on May 3.
• Seventh win came in a three-inning stint against UT-Pan American on May 11. • Next three outing came versus New Mexico.
• Started twice against the Lobos in the conference tournament.
• Was named an MWC Scholar Athlete and was selected to the Academic All-Conference squad.

At Corpus Christi Calallen:
• Lettered three seasons for Head Coach Steve Chapman.
• Was a second-team all-state performer as a junior and senior.
• Earned all-state honorable mention accolades as a sophomore.
• Ranked by Inside Prep Baseball as the eighth top prospect in the state of Texas.

• Parents are Les and Susan.
• Has five younger brothers, Adam, Skyler, Zach, Logan and Elliott, and a younger sister Sarah.
• Plans on majoring in business.
